access the page setup for the Math Superstar program.
Below is the general guidelines/responsibility for a grader, which you migh=
t
find useful.
1. *Worksheets will be emailed to all students via distribution by Math
Superstars coordinators. *
2. *Each Friday, the grader will pick up the completed worksheets from
the folder outside of the classroom. (Do not ask your child to pick the
worksheets up for you.) You will take these worksheets home to grade and
return them the next Friday. *
3. *Also each Friday, put the worksheets you have graded that week in th=
e
folder outside of the classroom. *
4. *If a student has not written his or her name on a worksheet, return
it to the folder with a note. If you are grading more than one class, it
will be easier for you if you keep the worksheets for each class in a
separate group. *
5. *The next step is to track participation on the Math Superstars Board
located near the Library wall next to Ms Annette Lee=92s class. It is ve=
ry
important that each week you color the box on the board for each child t=
hat
participates. We use participation statistics to distribute prizes at
the end of the year, so it is very important that you track participatio=
n
for each worksheet turned in. Plus the kids like to see their names with
participation and would be disappointed if their participation was not
properly reflected. *
6. *Later in the school year, prizes and/or recognition activities will
be provided to the students who actively participate in the program. *
Math Superstars is a free program available to all the Laurel
Mountain families, please sign up via PTA and the program will be available
to you. In case you are not able to sign up via PTA, please let one of the
Math Superstars co-ordinators know and your student will be enrolled to the
program.
